Space Group Issues

In working with Space Groups I’ve come across an issue that I want to point out and talk about how to get around the issue.

When you have a Space Group and you try moving or rotating the group sometimes you get an error message

Most of the time what creates this error message is the fact that you have wall or faced based component within the space group and when you rotate or mirror the group these components, the components do not know how to react because the new conditions no longer meet their (restrictions.) I’m not sure if this is a bug with the Revit Project or the  families, because if you rotate the group less than 90 degrees you do not get the error. Many times if you mirror the space group you will also get this error.

One workaround for rotating a space group 90 or 180 degrees is to rotate to group multiple times at 45 degrees…
