You may wonder whether “.1” is the same as the “R2” releases you’ve seen in previous years, and the answer is yes. With no file format change, Revit 2017.1 includes new features and functionality and is available for access by Revit subscribers and current maintenance subscription customers from
Autodesk Accounts or via the Autodesk App Manager.
Revit 2017.1 is dedicated to enhancing user efficiency by making it easier to capture and document design intent and better supports high detail, complex modeling. We want to free you to focus on creating better designs and working more productively, relying on Revit to automate tedious workflows.
