For high school teams competing in FIRST Robotics FRC competitions this upcoming season, you should take advantage of the free Synthesis software developed by our 15 awesome high school interns (15 ‘Gracious Professionals’) this year at the Autodesk Lake Oswego Oregon office.
With Synthesis you will be able to import your robot 3D design, simulate testing the robot, testing the code, and practice driving the field. It is like a video game but your FRC team benefits before competition time as you get in all that well needed practice driving instead of waiting until the last minute as is typical because the robot and software are usually not complete until near the first event.
