BuildingSMART Australasia, are the local body of the international organisation and are “tasked with driving the uptake of Building Information Modelling. BuildingSMART’s mission is to work with key industry and government leaders to develop, maintain and facilitate the use of open BIM standards, like IFC, collaborative processes and integrated practices.”
To support industry standards, BuildingSMART have recently released BIMcreds, an online assessment tool for practitioners to validate their BIM skills and knowledge.
