I’m an optimistic person. I try to look at the bright side of every situation.
This factors into how I manage my time as well. I’m always optimistic about what I can get done in a given day. Some might say I’m overly optimistic.
While being an optimist is beneficial to your overall health, being a time optimist isn’t so great.
I’m often frustrated when I don’t accomplish the twenty or so things on my to-do list.
I’m often late for things because I try to get “just one more task” done.
I’d be better served taking a more realistic approach to my time.
Instead of being a time optimist, I working on being more of a time realist.
How about you? Are you more of a time optimist or a time realist? How do you support your realist habits or tame your optimist tendencies?
