Pipe Networks are a popular modeling tools because they are so much easier to track and examine conflicts than drafting utilities and polylines and MTEXT. They can be quite a pain to adjust the elevations of and are often only used to model proposed but not existing utility systems. Using the CIM Project Suite’s tools for Pipe Networks makes modeling existing networks a breeze.

Learning Objectives:

1. Create and manage Pipe Network models at a level that would previously have been cost prohibitive.
2. Use Pipe Designer to quickly correct elevations or existing parts.
3. Use Part Tagger to quickly assign annotation and modeling parameters to existing parts.
4. Use Part Swapper to change multiple parts type or size with a single command.
