SubD objects are a new type of object introduced in Rhino 7. They allow users to define coarse control polygon networks and implement “subdivision” refinements to create smooth surfaces. This tutorial shows how Conveyor supports importing these objects into Revit using our mesh post-processing. This tutorial explains how to:
– Assign SubD objects to Conveyor import categories
– Import the SubD object as as “hidden edge” mesh into Revit
– Adjust Conveyor’s SubD subdivision settings to change the mesh import resolution
– Update the SubD object in Revit.
