The new Autodesk Inventor is available and has several key updates, enhancements, and as usual a bunch under the hood for usability and fixes and attributed to customer feedback in the pre-release customer betas, Inventor Idea board, and user sessions.
One of my own highlights, because I’m passionate about DfMA workflows which are based on converging AEC and Manufacturing is the Revit inoperability such as saving native Revit project files for allowing collaboration on BIM projects.
The Inventor team, many are located here in my office location of Portland Oregon, have been focusing on performance area objectives, and making a really noticeable difference.
There are many other enhancements including Fusion 360 workflows.
