On August 21, 2003, this blog started thanks to the encouragement of two Autodesk colleagues Bill Johnston and Eric Wright. I was one of the top posting members in the Autodesk Discussion Forums on my own time, and at times answered the same plotting question week after week. I was told blogs might be a great platform to post a solution share the link when asked the questions again as well the posts would be found easily by others on search engines. It worked and soon Between the Lines blog was the first and most popular blog in CAD, and then we started several other blogs at Autodesk and helped other CAD blogs outside of Autodesk start out.
I have made so many good friends, connections, and memories. At times, it has been a struggle, and have posted from remote corners of the globe including the Amazon Jungle and the remoteness of Illeret Kenya to Bali Indonesia, but I have made it this far at 18 years that I can’t really just stop, not yet.
