Thursday was a record high temperature at 74 degrees in Bend Oregon on February 10. It is normally a high of 30-40 degrees for the high temperature. We have had geese migrating back north, honeybees out, trees blooming, and even a few hungry mosquitoes biting us humans. Bizarre weather for early February, and two months ahead of when the weather and nature’s spring activity would occur. I had a few feet of snow at my house just three weeks ago and low around 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
Here is last Thursday and the weekend in the 60s and 70s and going kayaking on the Deschutes river.
Today, it is snowing.
We need the water and snow pack here so I hope it keeps snowing, but I am also getting spring fever.
