Two Weeks of Adventure: From Oregon’s Coastline to Chicago’s Technology Hustle and Bustle

Wow, what a crazy couple of weeks it’s been!

I decided to escape work and ditch my cell phone connection for a bit, so we headed to the beautiful Southern Oregon Coast. We stayed near Brookings and traveled up to Bandon, passing through Langlois and hiking out to Cape Blanco and then down the to Redwood National Park to see the awe inspiring redwoods. The beaches we visited—Pistol River, Agate Beach, Secret Beach, and Sixes Beach—were absolutely stunning and practically empty but we hit during warm sunny weather which can be rare at times down there although being affectionately known by Oregonians as the Banana Belt of the Oregon Coast. Some of the most beautiful spots on the entire West Coast, hands down after having traveled the entire coast multiple times.
