What are Accelerated Graphics?
Revit doesn’t use your graphic card much. Almost everything goes through your processor. That means 3D views of large and complex models will be slow and sluggish, even if you have a killer graphic card.
To resolve this issue, Autodesk created a new graphics engine for Revit: Accelerated Graphics.
In the 2026 release, we have what they called a tech preview. The feature isn’t complete, but it’s advanced enough to be useful in some contexts.
