As part of our releases and announcements for AIA this week, we’re thrilled that integration with the AIA 2030 Commitment Design Data Exchange (DDx) is one of them. Over 350 firms have signed on to the AIA 2030 Commitment, which strives to provide “a consistent, national framework with simple metrics and a standardized reporting format to help firms evaluate the impact design decisions have on an individual project’s energy performance.”
From the 2014 Progress Report, the AIA stated that energy modeling plays a critical role in improving building design and modeling early in the process helps ensure that performance is part of the decision making process in the initial stages of a project.
