Community is an important part of BILT (if you haven’t heard yet, RTC has just been renamed, read about it here), and throughout the year many of our community members gather at local BIM events and user groups. One of the earliest and most successful of the open software events was BrisBIM which was held again last week. Nathan Hildebrandt, BrisBIM and BILT ANZ Committee member tells us all about it. BrisBIM’s October event, attracting just under 150 attendees, was headlined by Dr Bilal Succar from Change Agents + BIM Excellence. Bilal’s presentation titled “BIM Maturity Models” focused around his extensive research in the areas that Individuals, Organisations and Project Teams can all be assessed for BIM Maturity.
