We’re inside the 90 day window for the next Building Content Summit (BCS) on August 1st and 2nd in Toronto. BCS brings together thought leaders from Design & Construction, Manufacturing and Software & Service Providers to tackle the sticky (and evolving) issues surrounding BIM-related content. In previous years we laid the groundwork with discussions forming around broad topics like Geometry vs Data and Visualization vs Data/Spatial needs to specifics of how content needs change as a project progresses. While BCS is an opportunity to share and learn from your peers in the industry the origins of the event were driven by a desire to help Building Product Manufacturers (BPMs) understand how to better serve the AEC industry with appropriate content for the task at hand.
This year with the help of new committee members Mike Collins of Global Product Data and Dave Bandi of Thomas Enterprise we’re reaching out to more BPMs and setting the stage to have a greater impact on the way…
