In the Autodesk Lake Oswego Oregon office (Portland area), we are hosting some regional high school FIRST robotics team members as high school interns in our office this summer. These interns are working hard on the Synthesis software that FIRST Robotics teams around the world use to test and experiment their competition robot software as well as some robot practice driving on the competition field. It’s quite amazing what the high school interns have developed as Synthesis over the years, and this years interns are really taking the software to a whole new level of functionality. I cant wait until the Synthesis Team announces the new release features to the FIRTST Robotics community. I got a private presentation on the feature work they had done and was quite impressed.
Gracious Professionalism is at the core of FIRST Robotics and emphasizes cooperation, inclusion, respect, and community. These 15 young adults embody that core principal and vision.
